Monospaced fonts have the same space between letters and could actually either be sans serif or serif fonts. Despite the style being hard to read on print or other content, it’s easier for coders to use this font for programming. When it comes to infographics, especially more complex ones like product roadmaps or process diagrams, sans serif fonts are the perfect candidate as they’re clean and easy to read.

along with a thin and a heavy face. Authors who desire finer control
over the exact weight values used for a given element should use
numerical values instead of relative weights. Style sheet designers are encouraged to offer a generic font family
as a last alternative. Comic Sans is characterised by its informal and playful appearance, with rounded letters and moderate stroke contrast. It is often used for titles and headlines in documents and graphics and has a light and whimsical feel.

It was specifically designed for use on the web and intended to be a highly legible and readable typeface at small sizes on computer screens. Verdana is characterised by its large x-height, vast proportions, and open letterforms. Most modern typefaces set numeric digits by default as lining figures, which are the height of upper-case letters. Non-lining figures, styled to match lower-case letters, are often common in fonts intended for body text, as they are thought to be less disruptive to the style of running text. Humanistic sans serif typefaces also closely match the design characteristics and proportions of serif types, often with a strong calligraphic influence. Some typefaces have a structure that suggests a three-dimensional letter, such as letters carved into stone. A typeface is a set of fonts (a collection of letters) designed to work well together. You can write or edit text, and the typeface you’re using will set the font design for the rest of your project. There is no guarantee that there will be a darker face for each of
the ‘font-weight’ values; for example, some fonts may have only a

Every typeface is a collection of glyphs, each of which represents an individual letter, number, punctuation mark, or other symbol.
